Water smarter, not more
- Install an irrigation system to reduce waste and over-watering
- Water early in the morning or late afternoon to limit evaporation
- Mulch beds to retain moisture and suppress weeds
Protect your turf and trees
Mow a little higher in dry months to shade the soil, aerate to help water penetrate, and prune carefully to reduce stress on shrubs and trees. Palms in particular need protection from over-watering, root damage and sun burn.
